    Fozia's @ Grand Central — Terms & Conditions

    1. General

    Fozia's @ Grand Central ("we", "us", "the restaurant") operates a booking-only dining service for table reservations and special events. By making a booking, purchasing a gift voucher, attending an event, or using our website, customers ("you") agree to these Terms & Conditions.

    2. Bookings & Deposits

    2.1 Table Reservations

    • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings.
    • The deposit amount is shown during checkout.
    • Deposits are deducted from the final bill on the day of the booking.
    • Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.

    2.2 Deposit Transfers / Vouchers

    • If you cannot attend your booking, the deposit may be converted into a deposit voucher valid for 90 days.
    • Deposit vouchers can be used toward any standard table booking within the validity period.
    • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
    • Vouchers cannot be used past their expiry date.

    2.3 No-Show Policy

    • A booking is marked as "No Show" if the party has not arrived within 30 minutes of the booking time.
    • No-shows forfeit their deposit in full.
    • We may still seat a late arrival depending on capacity, but this is not guaranteed.

    3. Special Events

    3.1 Payment Terms

    • Special events (e.g., Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, Eid, Christmas) require full payment upfront.
    • All payments are non-refundable.
    • Special event payments cannot be transferred, exchanged for vouchers, moved to another date, or refunded.

    3.2 Menu and Pricing

    • Menus and pricing may vary depending on the event.
    • Prices are fixed for the chosen event and cannot be altered.

    4. Gift Vouchers

    • Gift vouchers may be purchased for any amount.
    • Gift vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase.
    • Gift vouchers can be used for:
      • Standard table bookings
      • Special events
      • In-restaurant purchases (e.g., shop items, spices, chai blends)
    • Gift vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
    • Lost vouchers cannot be reissued without proof of purchase.

    5. Student Offers

    5.1 Student Discount

    • Students receive 10% off their bill.
    • Each student must present a valid student ID to receive the discount.
    • The discount applies per student and cannot be applied to non-students in the same party.

    5.2 Student Takeaway Box

    • The £10 Student Takeaway Box is available between 5pm and 7:30pm only.
    • The box includes: Pilau rice, veg pakora, and a choice of curries (chicken/veg):
      • One full curry, or
      • Two curry options served together in the same box
    • Curries are portioned to fit one takeaway box.
    • This offer is for takeaway only — not available for dine-in.
    • Each student must present a valid student ID to purchase a box.
    • One box per student ID — group orders require individual student IDs for each box.
    • Student offers cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts.

    6. Walk-In Customers

    • Walk-ins are accepted based on restaurant capacity.
    • A full payment is required upon seating for walk-ins (excluding drinks).
    • Walk-ins cannot claim availability over pre-booked guests.

    7. Table Allocation

    • We reserve the right to assign tables based on group size and operational needs.
    • Guests may be moved to an alternative suitable table if required.
    • Large groups may be seated across multiple tables.

    8. Allergies & Dietary Requirements

    • Guests must inform staff of any allergies before ordering.
    • While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee the absence of allergens.
    • Nuts: Most of our food does not contain nuts, but we use nuts in the kitchen for certain recipes. Please contact us directly to discuss this further.

    9. Alcohol Policy

    • Fozia's is an alcohol-free establishment.
    • We do not serve alcohol on our premises.
    • Guests are not permitted to bring alcoholic drinks onto the premises.
    • We reserve the right to refuse entry or service to anyone who attempts to bring alcohol onto the premises or is under the influence of alcohol.
    • No refunds will be provided if service is refused due to breach of this policy.

    10. Behaviour & Refusal of Service

    • We reserve the right to refuse service for:
      • Abusive or disruptive behaviour
      • Safety concerns
      • Violations of restaurant policy (including alcohol policy)
    • Refunds will not be provided in these cases.

    11. Liability

    • We are not responsible for loss/damage to personal belongings.
    • We are not liable for cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., power failure, extreme weather, government restrictions).

    12. Changes to Terms

    These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. The latest version will always be available on our website.
